The Impossible Burger is still the best vegan burger I have tried so far. Before that I had a Bean Burger at Smash Burger and it was OK . I also had one from the super market that was made from peas and it was good too. I stopped eating beef (still eat chicken and turkey) trying to gradually cut back eating meat. Hard to find foods to fill you up especially when it is mostly fast food around you.

It's funny how Bill Gates has ownership in both companies. He knows in the future more people will leave that sick ass meat alone.

I think they are good but has anyone noticed they have a weird after taste? Not sure if its just from where I got it from or how they prepared them.
It’s from all the spices and chemicals they add to get the initial taste to be “good”

I haven't had the Beyond Burger yet but I tried the Impossible Burger at fatburger. It was more realistic than Boca burgers, it had more of a bite to it.

It has been 10+ years since I have eaten beef so I don't remember all of the details... but I think it had less of a flavor than beef (beef has a strong broth that no other flavor can replace it, umami).

As someone that has worked near a charboiler - if you are vegan or plant based the food will be prepared on the same surfaces. They are not going to clean the surfaces every time someone wants one of these burgers.
