I'll gladly pay monthly union fees to get job security, a fair living wage, paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal days. 401k, penchant, annuity, paid schooling

I'm sure there's non union jobs that supply all of that but I feel like I get a lot for a small fee

I never went to school or got certs but if they could get me work paying me 70k I'll gladly give them $60 a month

Yep. Unions are what got us fairer wages and holidays. If you're being fukked about by your employer a union is essential.

I do low voltage
I was trying to get into the electrical union
Didn't go too well

The lack of unions, IMO is one of the main reasons the middle class is disappearing.
