I love fried rice:noah:

Wanted to make some for the 1st time tonight, but i heard it's best if you let the cooked rice stay in the fridge for a day or 2.

Thought about making it wit steak & shrimp :steviej:

If you're short on time, just give it a quick cooling in the freezer.

Spread it out on a plate or baking sheet (whichever you have) and let it sit in the freezer for about 15-20min.

Love making my own fried rice. Here's how I do it:

1. Cook the rice first and cool it off in the fridge. Don't listen to anyone saying it's not a good look to make it with 1 or 2 day old cooked rice. It doesn't make any difference.

2. Scramble some eggs and let sit until room temp.

3. Sautée some diced onions and carrots in a wok until carrots are tender.

3. Add some frozen peas to the wok and cook until thawed

4. Add the rice and eggs to the wok with some soy sauce and sesame oil and let it cook while stirring frequently. Add dash of salt, onion powder and garlic powder.

5. Add some diced green onion after plating it.

I've tried making it in a skillet and found that using a wok is quicker and results in way higher quality fried rice. Next time I make it I'm gonna try using some fish oil and see what's good.
