In Dallas, From Cleveland
I stopped for like 3 years. I had no cable and had no interest in any shows that were on other than sports. It was just a weird spot in my life that I was just kind of out there and I had no clue what people were watching on TV.
I was able to do quite a bit but I also just wasted my time with other stuff i.e Poker, Making Beats, Music

I've caught up on some good shows the last 2 years thanks to Netflix, Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development.

Now I just DVR everything I want to watch on TV and usually watch them all on Weds & Thursday. But those making an appointment to watch a certain show at a certain time days are over.

TV? man tv stopped having good programming on it (outside of news (sometimes) and live sports and the occasional movie or "Family Guy") in the late 90's early 2000's...

man I've BEEN over tv...Read a book, hang with family/friends/gf/bf, get out and enjoy the world. Television/media has had an agenda since it's inception but I have honestly refused to watch or be a part of it...

Still need my college football Saturdays and NFL Sundays tho...with an occasional NBA game or MLB game to supplement it (minus commercials lol)

Havent had a tv in like 2 years

Tv is demonic and promotes groupthink, I don't need espn/CNN/MTV subliminally altering my thoughts

I catch sports at my neighborhood bar and that's that

Outside of Saturdays & Sundays (FB) i'm really starting to feel like TV is just a big ass distraction, just like twitter is so im tryna chill on that too. I was watching an elle varner interview where she was saying its been like 5 years since she stopped watching TV regularly and it made her accomplish more. Anybody been through this and if so how has it effected your life?

if ur time away from tv isn't spent making money, its pointless.

Spoken like a brainwashed tv watcher

It was tough for me to quit but I knew it was necessary

I was an addict from birth. My literal first memory is watching cops with my father.... Even with those circumstances I recognized how demonic it was and quit before it was too late

I watch the HBO Dramas on sundays but other then that no. I havent had cable since february and I dont miss it.

I go out too much though so maybe TV would help me sit my ass at home.
