Anybody here write poetry and short stories?

Just started working on my novel last night. Only got 4 pages done cuz I aint get home until 8, but getting started is better than not starting at all.

I hope to be done before the semester picks back again

So that only leaves me with 2 months

And this book is going to be 30 chapters long

What's the plot of the novel? (if you don't mind sharing at the early stages)

It's all good. Nobody will be able to write it the same way I can anyway

But the novel's about a sixteen year old girl who battles with depression after losing her parents in a tragic car accident. There's three other characters with their own narratives and all of their plot lines interweave, kinda like Game of Thrones. shyt's gonna be epic

Ditto. I hope to have a rough draft by the end of the summer and a final draft by Halloween or mid November.



I got a massive doc (111,000 words) I've been working on since January. Haven't actually started writing. It's just 400 odd pages about all the characters, plots, subplots, history, world building, etc. You spose to treat every book as a stand alone but, I have an entire series planned anyway People on different writing forums said what I was doing was a "Series Bible" and it's helpful to some writers. I'mma start sometime next month. No life this summer whatsoever

Yea...I'm shooting for the YA crowd though. I have an idea for another story too but, it's heavy on the romance.

I never cared for reading/writing. Got the bug last fall.....seven months & 20 books later

Lol a little something breh. just been trying to find my groove. might have to start writing like three bars a day to get out of stuck mode
