Sorry to hear that. Worse thing about this boot as that its about to get hot as balls in Atlanta. I gotta wear this super thick sock under the damn thing too.

how long u gotta keep that on?
when u getting your surgery?
I had a couple of friends completely tear their Achilles heel. One friend was on a wheel chair for a while. The other gained like 35 pounds during recovery.
Both brothers have never been the same.

Honestly, I was pretty pissed when the doctor was giving me the prognosis so I can't really say I was paying full attention. I believe the boot will be on for 8 weeks max. From the sound of things I won't need surgery.
i remember when julian peterson partially torn his achilles,
i think the only way to fix that is with surgery
u might wanna get a second opinion

I wasstatus when it happened a few weeks ago. I figured it was just an ankle roll or something. Went in today and the doc told me it was partially torn and put me in the robocop boot![]()

ass, the days of doing those kinda sports are over. I'm an avid runner, but I don't do shyt where I'm doing cutting and quick acceleration and what not.
my wife tore hers three weeks ago to the day doing gymnstics at the gym with my kids
the same day, I told her that that wasn't a good idea, but she did anyways, and this was the result. another funny thing is she tried to get me to come out there and do flips with the kids. and I said hell no cuz for myass, the days of doing those kinda sports are over. I'm an avid runner, but I don't do shyt where I'm doing cutting and quick acceleration and what not.
so come to find out it's a complete rupture. thought it was initially a strain cuz she was able to walk around for a week after it til the surgery (which was 2 weeks ago now), but it was shredded.
which leaves me here doing damn near EVERYTHING cuz she's hobbled up in the bed for the most part with almost no mobility.
the ONLY saving grace is that it was on the non driving foot, which means she can easily drive a car. (luckily no manual transmission)
I'm guessing there'll be another 3 months of this before she's able to walk somewhat normal.

Also had multiple hairline fractures in both tibias... very painful, had rods installed all the way down in both legs from knee to ankle. Took me out of commission for damn near half a year. Still never healed correctly and I still have trouble with those as well. Sometimes it’s tough to walk. Only remedy would be to sit in a wheelchair for about 6 months
Been through rehab for all of my injuries like 3 times. Damn near in pain daily but I’m used to it
Just accumulated overtime I thinkHow did u get these injuries breh
Just accumulated overtime I think
Tore the bicep deadlifting like 400lb+
Other injuries to the legs probably came from squatting, formation runs, jogging in boots, etc. Just shyt overtime
