and this guy is actually over in INDIA and he gave me the lowest price, if im gonna be paying thousands anway, I def don't wanna get no cheap or faulty quality work. Do you know any tech people or coding teams u can recommend?

Yeah I know a lot of people and I could reach out to them if you want. But if you really want to learn how to code i would try it out because you are building something that you want and that will give you extra motivation. By then you would know if coding is or isnt for you

If you write one functional line of code I’ll be surprised :ehh:

most people create these threads but don’t follow through. You hate to see it.
Im not "most people"....ive taught myself everything I know. Wanted to learn forex, I did just that and now imma beast at it and ive posted several forex related posts here. I don't have a "most people" mindset..never have. Whether I learn to make it myself or pay out of pocket to have it made....ill be back once it completed and done.

I would go with React Native if you want a mobile app for both platforms IMO. It will allow you to basically share the same code across iOS and Android apps. It will not be a web app, it will transpile it to native code for each platform.

Otherwise, you would have to learn 2 languages to write a native app for each platform. Java or Kotlin for Android, then Objective-C or Swift for iOS.

Go through a React Native course on Udemy.

u think Fiverr coders are sufficient? Ive used Fiverr for different stuff like logos for the low, but I know alotta times u take a hit in qualtity when using FIverr gigs.
yesh i've had problems with communicating with the people as well but 20k for Indians is too much not trying to sound :mjpls: but they're conning hard with that price.

If you have a really good app idea you're probably better off paying someone else to build it than learning to code yourself as it will take you a minimum of a year to get to the point where you're building apps at even a junior level.

If you insist on going that path, learn Javascript and React and build a cross platform mobile app with React Native. Go to Udemy.com and download some courses to get started.
He has never done programming before and you want him to start with JavaScript? :mjlol:

He gonna throw his computer at the wall.

Yes. Note that it's not that there is also React framework for web apps by the same developers (Facebook made/maintains both).

They are similar but not the same. React Native is for mobile apps.

Thats another reason why I recommend you do React Native. Your skills will transfer to React for web apps, so you will be able to build iOS, Android and websites. React skills are also in high demand in the job market, too.
