Anybody know anything about car down payments??

I went yesterday to a buy here pay here dealer to get a car, my credit is getting better but still not where it should be , i had a Lincoln navigator that cramped out and costs too much to fix.

I placed 1,000 bucks down and signed a whole bunch of stuff, im supposed to come back tomorrow because it needed to be detailed among a bunch of other things.

I got home and realized that the car is wack sauce and I dont want it at all...

Ive neer driven it off the lot tho...

can i get my refund back??

Really depends on the stuff you signed, and the dealers willingness to work with you.

Most likely if you tell them that you want to buy something else that they are selling they will be cool about it. If you just trying to get your money back they make keep some, or tell you to kick rocks.



Edit: in the future don't sign shyt, or give up cash until you are sure you want it. If you are on the fence try to negotiate with them to let you test drive it for a full day.

You probably have a 3-day right of rescission. Google it for your local principality, then depending on what you find, go back to the dealership and tell them you want to rescind.
