Back in my second year of uni i used to download like a demon, high speeds plus peer guardian made sure I was living good off of free music and tv shows. Eventually, my laptop died after the graphics card burnt out from playing modern warfare. It was a drought. I was cut off from everything. Shamless begging and pleading about how my studies were being severly affected
led my dad come through and bought me a sony vaio (forget the model).
I felt like a man reborn... I was back to my downloading ways
Life was all good... until the final day of term. I had a two papers to submit but I couldn't get onto the network. I frantically ran to one of the university computers. It was a no go. I tried logging into my uni email from a friends account. It was still a no go. I'm freaking out at this point
. Eventually, my boy was like just go to the it department. I went and showed them my id... the lady just replied oh... give me a minute.
She came back holding a letter from the Weinstien Company about how my computer had been flagged for downloading Zack and Miri Make A Porno. Do you know how awkward it was having this 60+ year old women about downloading a film, and worse still she actually thought it was a porno film. I tried pleading my case, and she was having none of it. The sheer disgust and contempt in her voice was enough for me to realise there was no chance of me changing her opinion. I was a sexual deviant in her eyes. All this time downloading and i had forgot to install peer gaurdian on my new laptop.
As I left, my boy said loudly "You told us all you were over ur porn issue
