You'd be starting work early at 7 and clock out at 11 at night. with the commuting time this gives you at most 6 hours of sleep to keep up with this slavery so just think about that. Think about life on a grander scale. What do you want to live for? I'd much rather be someone who's makin ends meet but has time to make memories with friends and enjoy hobbies ect, enjoying life to the fullest. What good is stacking paper when you're literally giving away quality of life for it. you don't wana regret this in 5 years

The only case where this would be acceptable is you're in some desperate need for the money and you gotta pay off somethin important
With the experience from the 2nd job i'd be making six figures in much less than five years.

Everything you listed could be done on the weekend.

I say just do until you can stack 5-15k. See the bigger picture. I prefer to work more. I like it when I barely have time to blow through my money. Looking at my bank account like :ohhh: is a great feeling.....
Im like that when its OT pay, man I used to rape the fukk out my last contract :noah:

IT Security is hard as hell to break into. This is my first break after like 3 years of trying.

Thats what the part time gig is? If thats the case then i say go for it since you will be getting your foot in the door, but i wouldnt just work two jobs just for the heck of it is what Im saying. As long as you know that this is temp to get your weight up then i say its a good move

Damn near impossible. I only made it 6 weeks, but there was never a week where I worked 40 hours for each job. The tiredness that you feel is out of this world.

i currently am. i do 4 10 hr shifts a week at my 1st job and im on call or pool at my second which i usually work 3 6hr shifts a week. i always work my second job on the days i work my first job cuz i need my 3 days off.

i could easily get ot/doubles at my first job, but it can be mentally draining, and the fact that they take out so much taxes on my check isnt even worth it.

i only picked up this second 2 months ago cuz im taking a break from school and saving up money to go travel.

first job: sunday - wednesday 1pm to 11:30pm
second job: any days between sunday - wednesday 12am to 6 am

Avi got me :dead: as hell

:laff:

Wouldn't you make more getting OT than working a 2nd job?

If I could get OT I wouldn't even consider a 2nd one.

And when I say that I mean either two full time jobs or a full time & and part time job?

Did that shyt once before and didn't even last a week.

Got a chance to do it again, And I want to but I know this shyt gonna be killer. :mjcry:

But it would offset not getting OT on my current job and put me in position to make a HUGE salary jump in a few months.

Would break down something like this:

1st job: M-F 7 AM - 4 PM $25 per hour

2nd job: M, T, F, possibly Sun 5 PM - 11 PM $20 per hour

Talk to me brehs :jbhmm:

why not just work overtime? If you at 25 an hour for the first job, then overtime is time and a half. thats $37.50 an hour for overtime.
