I have extreme patella tendinitis in both of my knees from high school playing basketball. The pain been going on for about 3 years .

So anybody have knee problems? If so did it ever heal and what did you do to fix your knees?

I've been suffering from knee pain since I was about twenty, I'm 25 now and it's only gotten worse. Some days I have to walk with crutches because I can't carry my weight.

I've also lost 41 pounds and still counting. So maybe that has something to do with it as well. I would rather not take any strong pain meds but I think it's time. I'm really tired of being in constant pain.

At least I know I'm not alone.

I injured my knee in 08 doing squats with improper form. The pain went away thankfully but the muscle above the knee sometimes feels loose. I still run, walk and jump fine. Although my vertical isn't the same. A certain exercise helped me to rehab my knee.

I got a knee injury from a fall about 6 years ago and its never been the same. I tend to feel it for days, in that one knee after running. Didn't have that problem until my knee was injured. I just try to relax and just started doing lots of stretching. Trying to not see a PT, just a bit stubborn and I don't want to be told I can't go running...so I still run btw.

Fantasy.
My sisters been having knee pain and even tho she's gotten a checkup did an MRI the doctors say that they can't find anything wrong with her. So I decided to see if I could find something to ease her pain beside pain medication. I googled a lot and came upon something called infrared light therapy. I read up on it for a while and when she was literally crying from the pain, I went on Amazon and bought her an infrared light bulb and a lamp. So far it has helped her a lot. She shines the bulb on her knee for about 10-15 mins a day or when the pain is really bad. We didn't talk to her doctor about it and from what I've read it's safe. I'm not recommending anyone does it but it's good to research and see if that is something that might help you. I use it occasionally when I do squats and it really helps with sore muscles as well. I hope you find a remedy for ur pain. I've had plantar fasciitis before so I know how bad foot pain can be.

I'm an avid runner, but knee pain is probably the ONLY injury I haven't dealt with. right now, I've had an achiles injury for the past 2-3 months that's FINALLY just now getting right. but I have had calf strains and hamstring pulls which have been brutal to recover thru as well.

I've had osgoods schlatter disease in both knees for over 20 years now and I was also diagnosed with tendonitis in one my knees on top of it. It's hasn't gotten better and every knee specialist I've seen over the years all told me there's nothing they can do about it.

It's gotten so bad at certain times that I wasn't able to walk and had to quit jobs because of it.

I've been in constant pain for the entirety of my adult life :francis:
