I am FAR from struggling:laff:

I live in a 165K household.

We been would have had kids but I want to buy a house first. And payoff her car.
If you're in a 165k household, how comes you both don't have a mortgage yet? Unless you're in NY or California... then that would make sense.

Yall really not paying off your cards in full every month? I thought yall made good money. I treat my credit cards like a debit card. If I dont have the cash, I dont buy it. I pay in full every month. The only way to use credit cards.

Because we paid off ALL debt before buying a house. Just got here car left.

And 1200 on my student loan. But that will be paid off on Monday.

And we are 31.

Not sure if we want to stay in this area. I want to go to Texas or Florida.

And its smarter to put down more and get a 15 year mortgage.

Or just cop mad rentals and rent them out.

We just stacking and traveling :blessed:

Glad to hear that breh. No better feeling than being debt free. Just don't let her pressure you into having children if you're not ready to yet. You're still young and virtually debt free. Don't create another financial burden straight away.

Honestly I think we are both like 75% sure that we don't want kids but sometimes I want one but if we do have one it will be before 35

Yeah, 4k that went to collections when i was in college because I was tired of paying my bill and not touching the principal. I have one personal card now that i pay off when the bill is due I haven’t used it in a couple months tho and a corporate card that I don’t really touch, but right now in life I don’t really need CCs or credit so ima let the collection ones fall off.
Somebody dapped this so ima update.

My engine went out in January and needed a new car to get to work, I couldn’t get a loan because of the bad debt even tho I was making good money they didn’t care about my deposit. Had to clear out some debt and pay off some dental work I had to start the year to get my utilization down.

I was finally able to get a loan at 10.4 percent After a couple weeks throwing money at debt, paid that for a couple months while getting my credit right and then I refinanced the loan at 3.2%

I was hoping to live my life not needing Credit, but i was tired of paying $5,000 cash for a car that only ended up running for a could years before a $3,000 repair Was knocking. I needed a warranty plus I wanted a BMW so a loan was my only option.

Having bad credit cost me thousands of dollars this year, You are gambling if you say F it im cash only, dont get caught slippin.

BMWs aren’t unreliable They just cost more when they do break and im okay with the premium. Plus I’ll do My own maintenance.

Repairs are gonna happen, I dont want to spend bread on a car that I dont enjoy driving. :yeshrug:

I got a 3 series it was a CPO and I have a couple years of warranty, perfect combo of performance and gas milage in these LA traffic streets. :wow:

Black on Black with all the bells and whistles. :win:

Naw, Audi is ugly to me, as far as Mercedes the F30s BMWs are better looking with better handling, unless i was going with an AMG, and I don’t need that power in LA and plus i feel like i gotta be a home owner before I got an AMG, and LA houses are crazy expensive so its gonna be a while. :damn:

But yeah avoid pilling on debt if you can while also building your credit just in case you ever need it. I dont yall to go through what I went through :to:
