Anybody stayed at a hostel before?

I waited to late to get a hotel room for this conference I'm going to in Chicago in July. Most hotel charge close to $200 a night. So I was like bump it. I booked a hostel. Private room but the catch is you gotta share the bathroom which sucks. But it's less then $200 for 2 nights. Now, they did have cheaper ones where they you share a room for $38 a night. But no way am I'm staying in a room full of dudes. Especially strangers.

yea...i stayed at a couple of hostels in between sublets when I first moved to NYC...that was before I lived where I'm at now in Bushwick.

Never stayed in a hostel in the U.S....ive used them out of the country, and had no problems.

why not try AirBnB.com? My buddy just used it and found a good spot for like $100 (I think).

I highly recommend staying in hostels if you're backpacking / traveling outside the US, in fact it makes the experience

Hostels are straight breh. I never stayed in one in the states though. You usually meet cool people in hostels and it's usually cheap as hell if you just need a place to rest your head at night

I've never had a reason to stay in one but everyone I ever met that was crashing there was cool as fukk. So many handjobs from australians .
