I do but not as much as I used to. I used to carry like $60-$100 at all times in case I'm in a situation where cards can't be used or not accepted. Nowadays credit/debit cards are accepted everywhere, people have cash app/zelle/venmo, etc.

Most people i know that don't, it's because they either got robbed before and are traumatized from that or they don't want to have to worry about keeping up with their spending

Around $100, hardly use it. Also have a container of change in the car. Never know when you'll need it, it's come in handy a few times.

The only time I get cash is for my weed man. Rent, food, bills etc all done digitally. Paper bills are home phone status. Completely outdated and useless.

Almost every where they only take cards.
It’s usually a .50 - 1.50 transaction fee.
Even taking money out the ATM cost money.

What happens when the electric grid goes down? And you can’t buy anything via card or apple tap.
We had a freez down my way , a couple years ago.
A lot of folks we’re screwed!!! They couldn’t buy food, gas or water because the systems were all down.
C.R.E.A.M all the way.
I keep a debit card , but pay my everyday purchases with cash.

No only when I’m coppin zips,paying rent(money orders)or washing clothes.everything else is Apple Pay or debit card

There’s literally no reason to walk around with cash

Yeah, I live in NYC and local chicken spots/chinese stores/bodegas are usually cash only
