I look on there all the time but most of what people sell now is either junk that should probably toss out or items that are used but they want damn near retail for.

honestly if i got $700 to spend on a TV i'm not gonna buy a used 42 inch from 2010 i'm gonna go buy a brand new TV. also tossing in an NBA Live game with Vince Carter or a Madden game with Mike Vick or Donovan McNabb on the cover doesn't increase the value of your used game console.

its sad, a few years ago i used to find good deals on there all the time.

I literally buy old video games (Nintendo, Super) on there like 10 times a week then resell.

It's a great buisness.

I think IMA get my @PS4 there

Sent from royalty using Tapatalk 4 beta
I've seen Wii U's on there for $300 with 3 or 4 games and extra controllers.
Too many re-sellers trying to make money on there
Just like Ebay
Craigslist isn't a profit center. its a buyer's market. its a place where you sell something you wanna move not necessarily for profit but to move it and get some money for it.

i sold a 32 in 1080p Sony on there for like $220 with the Soundbar that cost me like $500 back in 09.i could have got more for both but fukk it i just wanted to move it as it was my 4th TV and too small.

the only thing people with money are on there to buy are cars. maybe an iPhone around release.

.

Says you :heh:

We both live in MI and I make like $700 a month off craigslist re-selling lol.

I buy shyt for 2 weeks cheap then resell at flea markets twice a month and then ebay for more expensive games, shyt's gravy.

I just bought SNES games Earthbound and Super Mario RPG off there yesterday for a $100 for both. Earthbound I will sell for $200 (it had the manual) on ebay and Super Mario RPG for $30 locally - after ebay fees, I will make a $105 lol.

there's people i know that do the same at garage sales. if you wanna look and put in the legwork you can find gems but honestly how many fools will you find selling extremely rare games with no idea of the value?

on a serious note, selling a used tv (even a good one) is pretty hard. i have a 120hz 46 inch toshiba lcd that is like less than 3 years old (with a year of warranty left) that i wouldnt be able to dump for $300 here. space is a commodity, shipping tvs are near impossible, so wtf do i do with it

Happens ALL THE TIME.

For example, Just today I bought Nintendo 64 with 10 games for $40. Guy wanted $50 I negotiated him down to $40, then I Sell:

System w/all cords/1 controller on its own for $35
each controller for $10 each (he had 3) so $20
Super Mario 64 $20
Zelda Ocarina $20
Goldeneye $15
Perfect Dark for $10
Crusin World for $5
Mortal Kombat Trilogyfor $10
NFL Blitz for $5
other three games that suck for like 3 each.

He also had the red expansion and black expansion, which I put the black one in, and sell the red on eBay for $21.95 (free shipping)

So after everything (including buying the console) I make around $105 (throwing in the fact some Jew might bum me down a few bucks on games at the Flea Market and I take out eBay fees).

So I am not like making millions here, but enough for gas for my real job for the week and food for the week as well and that's just off one deal, and this happens around 4-5 times a week for me.
