As someone who works at a corporate level for one the world's biggest banks, I find the notion that you have to automatically stop wearing sneakers ridiculous. I'm not working on the weekends so I can wear whatever I want during my downtime...I earn good money so I can spend it how I want to.

Anyone that tries to push this "grown men don't wear sneakers" narrative are naïve.

i havent bought a pair in years. with that said, 6s, 4s, 3s and 11s will always be my favorite shoes of all time.

i only have the black infrared 6s, olive 9s, aquas and grape 5s now but i used to be so deep in the sneaker game :wow:

Those groups you mentioned are in the .01% of society , but you go ahead thinking people walk around and dress like Kanye and also have his money

You're missing the point. I directly disproved the notion that only young kids working retail wear sneakers. The executives and upper level managers at my company don't dress up and wear air monarchs and Northface hiking boots and dad pants and drive priuses
So saying there's an age and income cut correlation to wearing sneakers has thus been nullified and isn't valid
I accept your apology.

There's an endless list of celebrities, actors, artists, ceos that rock sneakers daily but ima let u cook with that lame assumption :manny:
Not to mention Steve Jobs wore jcpenney new Balance 992 til the cancer ate him but yea sneakers are for people under 25 with shytty jobs. :heh:

Its usually dudes that's struggling, just started getting money, or just all out swaggerless that make up these arbitrary rules of what successful people do.

"Yo, If you wear a hat outside of 12am Saturday and 11:59pm Sunday you need to grow up"
"If you wear reading glasses and not contacts you must be broke"
"If you wear wife beaters under your shirts instead of a small undershirt you need to get your priorities in order"

Pretty much. When I worked at Nordstrom when I was in college the richest people came in dressed like dog shyt. Chris Mullin came in wearing a white Hanes t shirt tucked into some Levis and some random Nike runners. Rich people don't give a shyt

Some people think in corporate america, everyone has to rock 3 piece suits with briefcases and work on Wall-Street. I work for a Fortune 100 company and can wear sneakers anytime I want. Of course i put on a suit for big meetings, reviews, demos, etc but for everyday wear, when i know i'm just going to be sitting in my office all day(surfing the Coli), its casual (polo, pair of levis, brown shoes or sneakers).

Never did. I don't even know the difference between the numbers.

I just choose by colors and I like the ones that say jump man on em. I keep seeing girls and kids wear em. They're cute.

I wear a suit during the week and I rock jordans. I stopped buying them though. Haven't bought a pair in over a year.
