I heard going to law school is not where it's at right now. Lawyers are jobless cause the market is fukked to shyt. A co worker of mine went to law school and she can't find anything. Unless you at a top firm you might be struggling out here. Job projection is not good. Not trying to damper sh1t but it's always best to go into a decision informed.

Well Actually Law School Applications are at an All Time low

Get into a good school and know what you want to practice

Where you go makes all the difference, so get a really good fukking score.

I dated 2 girls from GW Law, 1 of them graduated this year and is doing really well. She had like 10 interviews last semester at different firms.

Yeah, choice of law school matters a lot. I read an article about how there's so many law schools that shouldn't exist because they put people deep in debt without the reciprocal name recognition/prestige. I'd say on average if you can't get in to either Ivy League or the top (non-Ivy) 3 or 4 law schools in your state (maybe being generous), it's not worth the debt you'll take on.

Hmm interesting.
My cousin is a lawyer with his own business and he said he'd employ me depending upon what I focus on in law school (this option is a last resort though).
All my other sections are fine except Logic Games right now. Seems like I've regressed from two weeks ago. It's worrying a brother.

What kind of law do you want to go in to?

I'm keeping my options open. Though currently, I have interests in various kinds of law: criminal law, constitutional law, international law, tort law.

I'll see what works out best during my first year.

Criminal Law: (classes you should take, not all-encompassing)
Evidence, Police Practices (4th Amendment Law), Adverserial Systems (Federal), the Criminal procedure class for whatever state you're in, Constitutional Law, Federal Jurisdiction, Prosecutorial Ethics, Federal Courts

Constitutional Law: Constitutional Law :troll:, Advanced Constitutional Law, Family Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Procedure, 1st Amendment Law, Police Practices (just to learn 4th Amendment law)

Torts: Torts, Advanced Torts, Civil Procedure, Remedies, Evidence,

Btw, not sure what exactly you can do with con law apart from teaching. The constitutional law stuff is cool to learn but I don't know how lucrative it is as a specialty. Same goes for crim law, it seems most who do that end up in the public sector.

I'm in Ontario though I'm sure you are largely correct about the class options

Wrong. If you looked, applications are lower than ever. Top law schools are being forced to lower their standards for enrollment. It's easier to get into law school than ever.

Don't be scared to retake. I studied for over 6 months when I took it and gained a significant amount of points over time. It's a bit close to the test date for you. Did you use anything to study?

I've been studying since the summer. My studying slowed when I started the second year of my MA. I hired a tutor a month and a half ago to catch up. I've made progress on everything (for which I'm glad), but I still fear the worst on Sunday. I think i'm going to spend the majority of my time focusing on logic games and some logical reasoning.

Yea just do that, at this point it's in the cards, when are you applying? Are you scoring near your target in practice tests? Test day just warm up with like 5-10 questions and come in with confidence.
