- As previously reported, the source of the news that claimed CM Punk was "expected" to make his WWE return at Monday's RAW in Chicago was Dave Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer Radio Show. Meltzer noted during the show on Sunday that a "top WWE Superstar" said he "100 percent expected" Punk to return at the show. After he didn't return last night, Meltzer noted on today's Wrestling Observer Radio Show broadcast that the same source told him "I was lied to" immediately after RAW went off the air

This is blatantly wrong. He actually breaks news all the time

The problem is he double talks too much but he's still the only one that breaks news now. I don't think anyone else does anymore at all.

I am talking about major, exciting news worthy things. Not predicting WM cards. Hes been wrong on a lot of shyt for years now. He said this past fall Hogan was staying in TNA. He was also saying Sting was making the jump back in 2011. Hes still the leader of this inside wrestling journalism shyt but hes no where near the breaking news guy he was in the 90s

Dont recall him ever saying Hogan was definitely staying. And Sting was very close to jumping in 2011.

Everywhere
-- As far as Punk is concerned, while some believe that he'll show up next week as a swerve (largely due to Paul talking so much about him on Raw and nobody burying him at any point), the feeling is that at this point, he's probably not coming back. You can never say never in wrestling, but there is a feeling among many that he's mentally finished with wrestling.

We Back :blessed:
