Anybody up on any of this "experimental beat music/future rap beats" type stuff??

Lately rappers aint been really cutting it for me, and I ended up getting into beats/instrumentals. Through soundcloud I ended up getting exposed to this whole other scene that's basically just dudes making some experimental beats. Found some pretty dope shyt too...











anybody been messing with any of this stuff... I hear in LA its a pretty big scene

The thing about any type of music thats truly pushing the edges is that by default at least half of it you going to hate...

A lot of the experimental stuff i respect, i just end up not liking it as music...

yeah I hear you breh, sometimes the stuff is so out there it's hard to understand without any reference point. FlyLo has some stuff like that, where its just so so out there its like

These were the initial 2 that i was really enjoying... the R&B joint with stwo is super dope...

I just started fukking with soundcloud, right now i am big on the gilles peterson mixes... he is really jazz focused, but a lot of his mixes have some joints with this kind of feel but with some improvisation over it...
Some of his stuff is straight jazz crazyness so you may or not mess with that but he has a great selection of different stuff in his mixes (He is a DJ and record label owner not a producer)
