I worked 2 hours today. made like $25 riding my bike. only did 3 deliveries. 2 were for chipotle, and one was for oysters from a kinda fancy restaurant. This i the first time I have actually delivered in almost a month. I been traveling a lot on weekends so I was busy. then the other couple times I went out, I wasn't getting ANY calls for jobs. so today, I actually went on the schedule, to insure myself I'd get a job. was pretty fun tho. signed up for another shift this weekend working midnight shift on friday. plus I need to be riding my bike, since I hurt my calf muscle on saturday and can't run without pain.
if they tipped me like 20% of that delivery I would of been eatingis this similar to those uber drivers?
Sure. But not in the winter![]()

Got a delivery for $400 bottle of ace of spades .. Didn't accept it cuz I have a temporary pex card with a $100 maxif they tipped me like 20% of that delivery I would of been eating
So I went to the office and asked em for a card with my name on it.. Since I have over a 100 deliveries they said they would order me one,, should be coming in a few weeks,, now I can do big money deliveries without having to call customer support to add additional funds

I got a personalized pex card like 2 weeks after I first started. They automatically ordered me one. yesterday, my final delivery was a HUGE order from a greektown restuarant that was like $180. even with the personalized pex card, I still had to contact support cuz my card would was not able to charge that $180 for some reason and they had to add funds.

luckily I took that job right as my shift was gonna end. the place where it was to be delivered would have been an 8 mile round trip which I didn't feel like riding, plus I couldn't ride with that much stuff. however, I was right by my car, and the restaurant was literally 2 blocks away from where I parked, so I ended up doing that last job via car and then I went home.
even tho gas is cheap again these days, I wouldn't recommend doing this via car. especially out here where you have to do so many downtown deliveries where there is no parking. plus I'm not about putting unnecessary wear and tear on my whip.
