If you dont get the Stanger Things similarities...your an idiot....

Elements if the 80s....missing kids....shady corporation/govt....science fiction/supernatural elements.

Where they differ is Dark is for folks with above average IQs...and if you dont know whats going on, you fall in the group below that....it lacks corny comedic elements....and has no silly monsters.....at least this 1st season

The English dubs didn’t match the English subs at all
Its funny, the time travel stuff was the least confusing to me since I watch a bunch of scifi. It was mostly the relationships and why some people doing what they doing that leaves my meh

good series, the 10 episodes went by fast, a lot of open questions that don't seem to have answers though

1. Why did Mickell/Michael kill himself in June 2019? Stress? He's already been living with his younger self running around for about 11 years:what:
Although I can see him killing himself if he thought it was his only way to get away from Hanna:francis:
2. If Future Jonah didn't want 2019 Jonah to change the past by bringing Mickell back, why did he leave him all the exact clues about how to get to 1986:jbhmm:

3. related to #2, why did old Johah think blowing up tunnel was a better idea than just letting 2019 Jonah change time with bringing Mickell back? Seems like either way would have changed the loop. Although he left the clues for his younger self to do that but changed his mine to go with the super clock

4. why is Noah dumping the bodies where they can be found? Is that just to keep the loop going. Why not just burn the bodies and keep it moving?

like i said good series, don't bother yourself with the Stranger Things comparison, this is a totally different show. Subs didn't bother me either.

One of my few complaints is that all the adults were married to or in relationships with people they knew as teens in the 80s. It was a little too convenient. I spent a lot of time like “oh new person. i wonder who that is in the future!” But who knows maybe that’s common in German small towns.

There are kids in it? Nothing like Stranger Things at all and Im not understanding the comparision
I'm just getting started on this but you got: the kids in the woods, on bikes, suburban/rural environment, a mysterious nearby power plant/laboratory. a missing kid, etc.

Yeah I can see where people are coming from no doubt about it, and not to discredit Dark cause so far this shyt if crack and I'm definitely on board:whew: but lets not act the similarities aren't there. :ld:

I see all the comments on how slow it starts, but man does this really pick up and the payoff is really worth it. Just finished binging on this and wow I can't wait for season 2.

Brehs you have to watch in German with subtitles. English just doesn't do it justice.

Seen those too but I didn't find it slow at all, I was intrigued from the start. Really makes me excited about what's to come :wow:
