Anybody watch “Dark” on Netflix?

On Episode 7 now. My only real "critique" (if you can even call it that) of the show is that it's tough to keep track of all the characters especially once they start time traveling and such.

Some other poster said this but a family tree would really help with keeping abreast.

Other than that, this show is spectacular.

Netflix is really a hit or miss company. They have a few widely regarded shows (House of Cards, OITNB, Master of None, Stranger Things) and a lot of misses/niche shows (Chewing Gum, Mindhunter, Easy, She's Gotta Have It).

2nd best series with the "Netflix" tag on it behind Black Mirror. This shyt was excellent across the board. Was this a German tv original that Netflix bought for thier platform for other countries? They do this with a lot of British shows and get credit like they were 100% the original production.

I'm still confused on some stuff b/c there are so many damn characters to juggle and some look a like, but overall, damn. really good.

the Stranger is Jonas. I predicted that the first time they met and time travel was being hinted at, but it makes very little sense. Most of the younger actors actually looked like their adult counterparts. I didn't think these 2 looked anything alike. If anything, I thought he looked like glimpses of Jonas's grown father we saw a couple times. Feel like some people weren't who they seemed. I also didn't really follow the Bartosz Dad/Teidemann shyt where he actually ended up being some straggler who came to town with a different name - same last name as the Jonas family.

I believe this was an actual Netflix production. They just green-lighted season 2 so it must be them

One thing i hate is when the guy who works at the clock shop tries to have stupid deep inspiring sayings every other line. like everytime his old self is on screen, he be saying irrelevant deep shyt trying to blow peoples minds or something. shyt has me

Finished it. 9.5/10.

My only critiques are

1- Can be tough to follow all of the various characters. I had to rewind to older episodes at time to remember certain characters.

2- The special effects in the season finale kinda took away from the "atmosphere" of the show.

That's about it.

just sayin... they did such a good job with casting for the younger and older versions of the characters, yet those 2 didn't look anything alike

That is my biggest 'complain'.

The scoring was crazy. Very few scores have set the mood as effectively has this on did.

The show was dope but it did fall off in the last few episodes....but over all i enjoyed it.

The soundtrack was dope as fukk, i even fukked with some of those pop tunes they played on it

But keeping it real, i can guarantee you they will fukk up season 2, once time travelling is at full flow, it always goes down hill for me but hopefully I'll be wrong with that brehs.

The suspense and plot twists were pretty good throughout the story but the ending was too Sci-Fish for my liking, I would not recommend it.
