kind of, in the sense that it is a DIY web series based in Brooklyn. But honestly it's a little higher quality, in terms of everything but especially the acting. I love M&V but sometimes the acting, especially with the Mexicans, and the way they beat you over the head with the gems they try to drop, is atrocious. I've started to fast forward or go do something else real quick when they Mexican "plugs" come on the screen. The whole thing is
Respect Life still drops those gems but it's up to you to pick them up.
On some real shyt though LANES is probably the best webseries going. I know its tough because there are so many of them and at quick glance they all kinda seem the same, but Lanes is miles ahead of everything. The audience seems to grow w every episode but LANES should be getting a lot more views/buzz/etc... plus they list all the songs featured on the episode in the description
