Anybody watch sports reporters on ESPN?

It comes on at like 11 am on Sundays....lol I used to watch it as a kid after my mom made me go to church.....but these days I'm either not awake, or during Football season I'm trying to handicap games or figure out fantasy line ups so I'm watching all football related stuff.

Like every other show on ESPN?

I used to catch this religiously on Sunday mornings, but as time went on and my schedule changed I stopped. It used to be the only show I would watch purely for opinions I respected, but that time passed long ago.

Didn't like Albom,Lupica or that fat Philly reporter I forgot his name.

Wilbon and Kornheiser used to be on this show regularly too before they got PTI in 2002.

Fat Whitlock got blackballed from this show when he went after Lupica calling him a hypocrite back when the bury Barry Bonds era in 02-04 was going on in the media.

This was the original debate show on ESPN even before PTI. I still catch it from time to time and enjoy it. Lupica is barely on there anymore though.

On December 20, 2011, Conlin resigned from his sportswriting position just hours prior to the publication of allegations of child molestation.

One of Conlin's accusers was his niece, Kelley Blanchet, who is now a prosecutor in Atlantic City, New Jersey.[6] The claims of abuse were first reported to the police in 2009, when Blanchet says she became concerned for the safety of Conlin's other young relatives.[6][14] Since the initial allegations were made, three further people have claimed they had been abused by Conlin.[15][16][17]

The baseball writers association (BBWAA) secretary/treasurer Jack O’Connell issued a "member in good standing" statement on December 20. It said in part "The allegations have no bearing on [Conlin's] winning the 2011 J.G. Taylor Spink Award, which was in recognition of his notable career as a baseball writer”.[18]

The day before the story broke, Deadspin editor A.J. Daulerio reported he had an email conversation with Conlin in which Conlin talked about suicide and criticized his accusers and Inquirer reporter Nancy Phillips.[15][19] According to Daulerio, Conlin's attorney, George Bochetto, called Daulerio in the afternoon and requested him not to post the story and said Conlin denied emailing Daulerio. The story was posted and about three hours later the Inquirer posted its story.[19]

Yes and no, usually when I get out the shower getting ready for church, the Parting Shots are on and I watch that.

It's like a ritual. When I lived at home I used to watch it with Dad.

Like many others have said, it used to be better years ago.

Growing up, me and my dad would look forward to that every Sunday before going to church. But over the years, it lost its way.

It's still a decent show and personally, I think Bob Ryan is great ... but some of the idiots like Lupica? I have no interest in what he has to say. Don't they have Rick Reilly on there sometimes, too? He's garbo, too.
