That's a fair point. Let me say something though....

It was Walt's idea to expand into that territory to begin with. In season 2, episode 7 "Negro Y Azul". He was gassed off people in the streets thinking Jesse murked that guy with the ATM machine.

Jesse even told him :whoa: "other crews ain't gonna like us selling in their territory" and Walt was like :manny: "do it anyway". Ironically Combo getting murked by Gus's people is what led to Walt meeting Gus, because Skinny Pete and Badger bailed on them and they had no distribution (season 2, episode 11) so they met with Saul, who sent them to Gus.
