Anybody work in DevOps.... I got questions

Hey so I been looking into the Dev ops field. Been coding at this jobs for about 2 years and software dev ain’t for me long term.
I just got my AWS Solution Architect cert and looking to get my Kubernetes cert soon. What else should I do to get into that lane? Those that are in DevOps how do you like it? Any tips? Or online courses I should check out?

Hiw is your bash and python scripting? Do you know how to code? Have you ever built or painted a companies infrastructure? How are your network(https, routing, https, etc) skills?

I'm not the best person for advice. Im a release train engineer/program manager and we practice devops. Just from overhearing nerd babble you should probably be good with Azure cloud.

Yeah I can code. Back end dev for this company right now mostly java. Learning python now tho for scripting. And Have a lil experience with aws and docker

Seems as if you are on the right path. From my experience DevOps is different from company to company. Some will have you code while others dont but the main thing is to know the major CI/CD tools (AWS, Jenkins, kubernetes, ansible) and you should be good to go.

There is a lot more to cover but imo that is good enough to get you foot in the door

I couldn't tell you anything about certs, I still don't have any. Really not much of a barrier to entry if you can show them you know what you're doing from my experience.
