How?
What tricks did your lawyer use?
It's not for me but I am supporting a family member.
Yes they admitted to officer they were drinking and blew .17.
Help?
I technically beat one pleading no contest to physical control. License suspended for 30 days and 1 year probation. But I didn't have to go to jail and I didn't get any points on my license.
He's pretty much done if he blew into a breathalyzer. That's literally all the proof they need. Sometimes if a person blew near the limit you can work with it, but in this case he blew double the limit. The lawyer will work the punishment down as much as he can but thats the best he'll get. Two of my friends went through it.It's a college town and I think they make a lot of money off these cases.
The lawyer is a POS... and wants to plead guilty. I told them not to and plead not guilty. What do yall think?
Also, does DUI hurt you when looking for employment, especially for recent graduates.
Lol ideally you don’t want to admit to any drinking not even one sip. And you definitely don’t want to breath into a breathalyzer. You can refuse and
Automatic suspension/arrest BUT they have no proof you were actually drunk. That’s important because now it’s on them to prove you were drunk.
We are past that point with that person. They need a lawyer and a damn good one that specializes in DUI in the county they were arrested. Do you really buddies with the prosecutor and judge and will get as light of a senses as they can but again if the prosecutor has a strong case you’re pretty much done.
Remember it’s still a burn or proof they have to prove why they stop the person they have to prove why they initiated all the tests. They have to prove the conditions(road, weather)were proper to get the tests. They have to make sure the breathalyzer was calibrated and correct.
They are pretty lenient on first-time offenders and also depending on what city and area
