and Spider-Man is fire, God of War was fire, AC: Odyssey is fire, RDR2 coming out, Hitman 2 dropping, eventually getting SC6..i'm eating quite well after buying another system
I've seen this rodeo too many times tho. When metal gear 4 released you same internet entities would say "Yo, this is the best game ever created" and the thread would reach 60pgs with people agreeing. Two months later it's considered garbage :dahell:
I never cared for God of war, ever. I'm sure this new one is the most "scripted" one yet. Spiderman, who played the last two Spiderman games by a raise of hands?

Assassins creed they release a new one each year, who the fukk said we needed AC games at a faster clip? I'm hearing complaints Everytime a new one releases. Ryse already tackled the time period and is a stellar game. I'm bored of being lied to about how great these soulless mediocre games are.

The Xbox exclusives have been the few bright spots btw haters...
only thing PS4 has over XB1 is MLB The Show
And real talk, I like the show for what it is but I don't like the time/commitment required to get the most out of it. Super mega baseball 2 captures all the excitement and skill but streamlines the process so games are done in less than 15min. Since it was free at first it's very popular on Xbox. My favorite baseball game of all-time at this point...
I don’t think having a backlog means you’re bored of gaming...
Depends on how big your backlog had become :leostare:
I honestly genuinely don’t think you can call yourself a gamer and not own a PS4. That shyt doesn’t make any sense.
Well child, a real gamer doesn't allow a trend to dictate what is good and what isn't. If you name All the top games from each gen you'll be disappointed in this gen. The lack of variety was forecasted because of rising prices to create games.

So while it's happening you now feel mediocrity that is marketed = quality but you can't run that bullshyt logic on a real gamer who thinks for himself

I've played most games this gen (no switch yet tho) I'm not bored because of limited access :stop: I just don't care to hype up literally every new title. I ask, when was the last time you wasn't "excited" when a AAA title releases? If you're truly a gamer, you get excited off the impulse. That isn't necessarily a good thing tho :gucci:

Oh, so you're one of those people who truly believes one system has content and the others do not. As people grow up, gaming takes a back burner. Life is short they say and time flies when you're having fun. At the end of your life will you look back and go "I spent a quarter of my life playing games :smugbiden:"

I mean, that's cool for you maybe but not my cup of green tea :yeshrug:

Ok, since you didn't read good I said I hardly played RDR1. And there is a thread here with a ton of people saying the same thing (that they didn't play it or barely touched it).

I bought GTA5 maybe two months after it launched. I played the first mission and was like "I did this already in GTA3, vice city, GTA4, the DLC's, max Payne 3, like, I need innovation in the majority of titles. Instead, you dikk ride any exclusive regardless if it's actually groundbreaking or Killzone. Driveclub. Knack. The last Guardian, they not terrible but they all are games that get the treatment. When you gonna cut that shyt out :stopitslime:
I know this is multiplat but this series along with GTA and metal gear also get the Holier than thou treatment. I'll get it for the low unless it's a must play title which is yet tbd...

My dream is to have a full racing setup, then I'll hop on Forza horizon 4 (maybe 5) and I'll shed a tear for the homies who haven't made it :mjcry:
then go read a book nikka leave the gaming to us...your xbox stannery is disgusting at times....and i have an xbox......there's great games out on ps4 and you refuse to play them because of some corny ass blind loyalty to a brand...then on top of that you're bored with gaming....you're bored with gaming because you playing the same shyt on xbox everyday but yet you dont wanna play exclusive games on another system.....yeah that's real smart

I feel like I need to focus on readin more than gaming right now. But with the weather changing this is the perfect time of year to hibernate inside on ps4 all day. I still need to play Secret of Mana HD and Southpark: Fractured but whole, and I still need to cop RDR2, Mega Man 11, and NBA2k19

You know what's real smart, saying I haven't played Sony exclusives :wtf: I've said as much in every post and yet you missed that part. The matrix is not your friend :whoa:
Yes gaming in general. I only play big releases. Good thing PS4 has heat or I would be done for awhile. GOW, Spiderman and now RDD2.
You're definitely bored with gaming :laff: you never had an Xbox, and all you did was name the current games that other forces want you to play. You named the fanboy favorites which is anything new and shiny. How come each year hundreds of games if not thousands release, but you only really care about exclusives be it Good or bad. You clowns don't give games a chance, you follow trends and you didn't learn from your mistakes.

How much money and time you dedicating to this "hobby" and are these exclusives really that good that it's worth it? Name an exclusive title that is over a year old that you play still? If you can't name one, name the multiplat that fits that description. If this is a hard question to answer there's a reason for that :francis:

You can do that, or you can better yourself. The end result is just financial gain, and your love life will be better because cheddar leads to better endeavors, finer places where ya find faces you can look at forever, this time off can determine your placement, time waits for no man so don't waste it :francis:
I am not bored I just don't have as much time as an adult.

Now that I can afford any and every game I just don't have enough time:mjcry:
It's not that you're bored, but it's not grabbing your attention over other activities. Ultimately we're saying the same thing, I still love gaming but it's not producing enough innovation these days for me to care as much as I'd like.

Basically it's slowly turning into modern day rapmusic. People who like mumble rappers will gravitate to Fortnite, gaming company will cater to that. I'm a dinosaur outcheaaa :to:

That's weird because for the majority of people it goes in cycles :manny:

First off, with bc Xbox is 3 gens deep. If you're implying there hasn't been 100's of games since then well then you're in the same boat and too stupid to realize it

Most importantly you wouldn't know if a game was good or not until you see a metro sexual white guy talk about it on ign first :dahell: then you see lemming avatars go "that exclusive? Then I'm interested :ahh:"

I'd rather play them than pay full price to play it in 1080p like a Sony remaster. Would you like me to link you in virtual everyone of those threads? You know I can, sohh we're done here...

Then you're a "casual" which is fine.

There's a gang of games you haven't gotten to because at one time or another you got bored with gaming and amassed a backlog. You of all people be in every thread, so how do you have a backlog when everything released on Sony is equal to mom's spaghetti?

So the AAAA title that's marketed the most and two remakes because gaming is boring you to the point you anticipating 16-bit remasters...

I don't need more games, I need people who think to want to play a game so I can use my brain while I play. I'm just bored with mindless gaming, I understand if this sort of thing doesn't resonate with a lot of you...

Who said I played anything exclusively :dahell:
I've owned the majority of systems since the nes. Just because I know Xbox is a better system than the ps4 doesn't mean I don't game. Your bad

We had a coli poker league, Texas Holdem is a big deal even if you're too ignorant to understand this. I play that before playing in real tournaments, and I win often. But let's get back to RDR1. You post here too much to be unaware that lots of gamers haven't played thru it. Multiple threads on it, I'll link one to you...
Can't believe I'm 2 years late on this but..Red Dead Redemption is epic brehs

He didn't say he was bored with Xbox gaming, you assuming I've only played one system is where your logic has failed you young grasshopper

Honestly yeah, that was me back a few years ago :manny: I had a ton of games for the last console generation (PS3/360) that I never beat, or in the case of RDR1, I never even started (I only ever did multiplayer on there). Once they started moving onto the PS4/XBO I gave it up. I plan on getting back into it a little more casually this go round but I feel the sentiment

Whatever I got out of gaming became more and more fleeting the older I got. I'll dabble here and there but gaming in general just feels like a waste of time these days. :manny:

VR looks promising. VRChat, from what I played, has been hilariously entertaining. Non-VR social games like Comedy Night is cool, too, when you find a solid room.

@PS4

Not having a backlog doesn’t mean you’re a casual. I game damn near everyday.

I only buy a game when I’m going to play it

I'm not sure if it's "boredom" or "not enough time" or a combination of both.

I used to blow through games. The average action game I'd finish in about 5 days.

Massive RPG's/open world games I'd finish in about 2 weeks.

I'd finish 3-5 games a month.

Now? It'll take me months to finish a game because I'd pick it up, play for may 2 hrs then put it down and never play it again for weeks.

My Backlog right for PC ALONE is ridiculous...………
