No point in "bulking" for a short period of time like that. Muscle isn't gonna come on that quick.

What happens is you "cut" and realize you spent the past couple of months tricking yourself into thinking you've been gaining muscle

Slow bulk for at least a year or don't do it at all

I bought a Carbon 15 when I was 18
There really isn't a clean or dirty bulk. They are both silly if done without enhancements, imo. People just don't understand. Lets say you spend 3 months bulking, you increase your calories by a substantial amount. And you have been working out for years, lets say 3 years. You spend the first month increasing your overall fat% while also retaining a significant amount of water, because lets be honest the foods that will get you those surplus calories are high in things like that. So you gain 14lb over 3 months. Lets break that down to 10lbs of fat gained and 3lb of water weight, actually a lot more but I'm keeping it simple, and maybe you gained a 1 of muscle, maybe. That is considering you do everything correctly and never slack off, that takes a lot of dedication and people that compete naturally have my respect, if they do so without any enhancements. I could never recommended doing the whole cut and bulk nonsense as a natty unless that person is just starting out. If you are not competing don't waste you time with that. Either stick to workouts that maximize your explosiveness or the condition of your cardiovascular system. If you are just working out for looks and you are going the whole bulk and cut route, you are wasting your time, plain and simple.

There isn't a clean or dirty bulk? :mindblown:

Dirty bulking is basically eating at a huge caloric surplus and not being worried about fat gain

Clean bulking is pretty self explanatory, eating clean with a slight increase in calories

You're not even taking into account the kinds of food this person is eating, that's a huge variable, you assumed he's eating junk and putting on a whole lot of waterweight as if it's impossible to just eat more clean foods :dahell:

If someone gains 10 pounds of fat in 3 months (40 pounds in a year) clearly he's dirty bulking so wtf are you talking about man :dahell: :dahell: :dahell:

I've been semi-clean bulking since March and put on just 10 maybe 13 pounds and added 40 pounds to my benchpress max on a small caloric surplus and most of that weight gain is muscle

If you don't think bulking works then you either never tried it or just ate your ass off and didn't train with the right intensity :camby: :camby: :camby:

I'm not getting into specifics on this forum. Clean or dirty bulk is silly. I don't know why people still believe in that. Do you really think it is possible to gain more that 2-3 lbs of muscle in a year? lol What would even be the point of using roids if that were true? How long have you been lifting or competing? I assume not long at all. You put so much money into food and shyt supplements for minimal gain. If you want to gradually increase your calories over time, do so. Don't call it a clean bulk because it's a slight increase in calories. lol

edit: How much of those 10-13 lbs of what you put on do you think is muscle? Because I can tell you right now the avg person on a decent diet would be lucky to see 10lbs on a basic test cycle. And who the fuk cares about numbers you put on your bench while gaining weight? lol
