Also, the reason why native women were buying black slaves was because they was a shortage on native men. So they chose black men over whites.
There's also a thing called the dawes rolls were descendant of slaves in the tribes were put on there to be equal to natives; so they could receive benefits. But now the tribes put the blood quantity on there shyt to stop blacks from reaping the benefits. So when you hear a native crying about whites not owning up to treaties, remind them of the treaty of 1866.

the five nations (Creek, Choctaw, Cherokee, Chickasaw and Seminole) had participated in owning Black slaves in the 1860s
Black slaves were abused physically and sexually by their Native American owners and some Native Americans fought on the Confederate side during the Civil War i heard.
My family was on the trail of tears. From alabama to oklahoma. There was also black people that fought in the Seminole wars. Out of all the tirbes seminoles treated slaves like natives. They saw black people as equals. Even some of the war chiefs were black and the native chiefs married black women. The seminoles are on that bullshyt now, but they use to be loving towards black people.

i also heard the Creek and Seminole treated Black slaves better than the Choctaw and Chickasaw who were brutal towards their slaves.
Well creeks treated their slaves like shyt too. Just the seminoles treated them like people. Choctaw was the most notorious for treating slaves like shyt. Chickasaw did the same shyt but not at the degree of Choctaws.That's why I have no sympathy for the tribes downfall right now. They've recieves a lot of money from the US and their people are still homeless drinking mouthwash and shyt. I see homeless natives everywhere in Oklahoma. Natives now aren't racist and mostly hang around black people. Just the older ones still on the racist shyt. Funny thing is natives still marry white people after all they did to their people. Its mind boggling.
