One game? :childplease:
With the Olympics, the Grammys, the Oscars and the World Cup coming up, this thing is gonna stay breh. Not to mention I have 100+ Blu-Rays. And you do realize that there is 15% restocking fee right? Rent a TV for $105 :wtf: You might as well buy it on credit.

I don't know but if people say they need it for the so I think they should rent.

only because i saw the debate...i've noticed every last one of those "new hdtv's" has some kind of problem. whether it's plasma, led, or lcd. it also doesn't matter what brand you buy because i've seen even the high end tv's come down with the exact same problems. not one or two years after either. i'm talking within the first day or week of bringing them home. basically just make sure it's new and has a warranty. i have an led and lcd. never bothered with a plasma because back when i grabbed mine those things were huge energy hogs(they'd literally use more power than the rest of your whole house), and infamous for burn-ins. since i saw the one that my boy had(last years model), i really have no problems with them.

It's about taking steps breh. I started out with a 32. I needed to go bigger for more immersion. When I watched my Blu-rays, I didn't get the cinema experience at all even after moving up to 42.

this. I recently got a tv for my youngest daughter. so I got her a 26" from costco. but since my oldest one had only an old 22" samsung, I got her a 32" samsung since all the tv's were on sale. both samsung tv's cost like $500 including taxes, so it was a :win: IMO.

then I took the old 22" samsung and put it in my kitchen. :ahh:

Yeah, I still don't know what I'm gonna do with my old one. :patrice: I might just give it to my sister.

Plasma's are trash breh. Get that LED TV
It's not 2005 breh. Plasmas are fine, and they generally have the better pic quality for viewing movies.

LEDs are better for gaming though.

shyt stupid af.

Buy a 4K TV just to watch 1080p content brehs

Only people that have the means for that are PC brehs with absolutely ridiculous rigs that can run games in that resolution.

I'm thinking about a 4K set when NBA 2K15 drops with the new engine on the PC.

shyt might require an SLI 780 Ti setup tho :patrice:

I saw a 4K set last year when I was in Toronto in a Sony store. I don't know, but I really wasn't floored by the display.

I saw one in Best Buy Union Square. It looks dope up close, but from a normal viewing distance to looked the same as 1080p.

again for the last few years its been a minimal problem, they have pixel shifters that move the pixels to eliminate burn in, also, plasmas arent supposed to go super bright they are meant for more darker type rooms, if you keep the cell and brightness setting to a descent setting you wont have this issue.
