waiting for the Vizio P Series later this year

LED TVs are trash. The only reason i mess with LED TVs is cause i play video games. Plasma TVs have far superior picture quality to LED TVs. The technology of LEDs is just inferior. they have tons of screen uniformity issues. the only real knock on Plasmas is you need to be in a controlled environment (dark room) for them to look their best and if you abuse them you can get minor image retention.Plasma's are trash breh. Get that LED TV
Black Friday isn't a good time to buy a high end TV. in fact the best time to buy is right now through the spring. the new models just got announced at CES and they're slashing prices on the older models to make way for the new ones. you can get a flagship TV from Sony for almost half of what it used to retail for.I can't lie, I might just wait and cop a 4K Samsung TV during Black Friday. I know that there isn't any content right now but hopefully it will be some by the time I get the TV. Saw a Samsung model 4k and I was literally stuck watching the details. It looked better than the Sony 4K TV. But it's whatever.

you need a controlled environment to compare. like look at this video in a dark roomI may have a change of heart and get a LED instead of a plasma. I guess that plasma's do not have the "soap opera effect" and that one of the main features that i'm looking for in a new tube. Plus I did do a comparison between the two and the plasma TV did look better but it was not by a lot. Some of the LEDs that I seen look very comparable and you really could not tell the difference. Do anyone has a opinion on LG or Sharp TVs in general? I seen some better deals for their TVs than I did for Samsung while browsing for the past couple of weeks.
What constitutes abuse for a plasma?LED TVs are trash. The only reason i mess with LED TVs is cause i play video games. Plasma TVs have far superior picture quality to LED TVs. happens about 56 seconds into the video they put an LED and a Plasma right next to each other in a dark room. the Plasma gets so dark it blends into the darkness. the LED due to its deficiencies in technology has clouding and flashlighting that's easy to see on an all black screen and you can tell the TV isn't producing true black.
here's a shot. i circled the Plasma.
Leaving it on for several hours with a stationary image on the screen. What constitutes abuse for a plasma?
I do this all the time and haven't had any problems at allLeaving it on for several hours with a stationary image on the screen.
