I go to the doctor maybe once every year if that. And usually only when I feel like shyt. I'm at the point now, where I'd rather just pass away than to worry about a sickness and stressing over it. :manny:

It's always a damn hassle scheduling an appointment with them. I haven't had a checkup in a couple of years.

Haven't been to the doctor's office in 20 years. It's a proven fact that knowledge of illness has a negative physiological effect on the body. People who didnt know about an illness they have have lived longer and more fruitful lives than those who were diagnosed. That's been shown in studies.

Nah, only dirty people do that.....im kidding....not really tho

I just used some of my paid time off and took off this Friday, just so I can for a regular medical check-up...i'm sure it will be a complete waste of time, but why risk not knowing whats going on with your health....plus i get the day off :mj:

love..I can't even begin to tell you what a horrible mistake you would be making to avoid the doctor. ...there are so many diseases you can have that are treatable in the early stages...

What if you contracted an STD unknowingly and passed it on to your spouse?

Shiit like this makes me appreciate not fuking...it's scary that so many people walk around not knowing their health status. ...

I try to schedule everything on the same day. Doctor's and Dentist for both my daughter and I. Long day but it's only once a year.

damn thread, but I understand.

The health care system in America, seriously needs to be remodeled.

While the United States offers damn near, the best care in the world, the cost of its practices are astronomical.

I'm sure @tru_m.a.c can elaborate more on this...
