I use honey in my tomato sauces for pasta, to lower the acidity. Used to use sugar but one day I tried honey and it worked better. I add it towards the end of the cooking process. Throw in my butter, basil, and honey...stir it and leave it on simmer. Meanwhile in another pot I got my pasta cooking until al dente.

My girls brother is a beekeeper. Best part about it is virtually no local allergies. If people arent getting honey they can't trace to a source, then they are wasting their time.
