Anyone else dealing with excess chlorine in your water?

What the hell are they doing to our water?! I first realized discoloration in sensitive areas on my body and I had no clue as to why it was happening to me. I was about to see a dermatologist until did a little research online. I found that the water company does a chlorine flush to purify our water. But how much chlorine does it take though? After I discovered this I realized the water smelled like chlorine

I ended up buying a filter for my shower.

Anyone else going through this?

Had the worst water ever when I lived in AZ. Had a water guy come out and did an analysis and there was as much chlorine in my water as in a swimming pool.

Got a softener + filter and was ever since.

chlorine is used in water to clean it...

the populations and demand for water is growing too fast...and water is having to be cleaned faster to be put out to satisfy demand....

I don't blame you. You supposed to take a shower to wash chlorine off, not to bathe in chlorine water. I don't trust added chemicals in my water
