I like doing deadlifts and bend over rows, but doing them both on the same day puts huge pressure on my lower back. So right now im doing deadlifts and shrugs on one day and the pull exercises like lat pulls, pull ups and bend overs on the other.

Will this have any effect on gains, strenght or mass wise? I also feel sometimes that you can do so much different exercises for your back that you almost cant squeeze it into one day lol

I separate upper body and lower body

So I do all my rows and shyt on the upper day and then I do deads (RDLs) on my leg day

I dont know how motherfukkers do heavy squats and deads in the same day but I do heavy squats and medium weight RDLs back to back no problem.

If you do split shyt up give yourself a day of rest between each day... doing bent over rows 1 day after deads is not much better than doing them in the same day. Mite be worse actually

I do everything twice a week (modified PHAT), and I'll do heavy rows of some sort on the 1st back day and save heavy deadls for the 2nd back day where I generally do higher volume/lighter weight lifts afterwards.
