Actually it is not, watching TV and being on Instagram are not really hobbies.
I didn't say they were. The top sentence was direct towards op and was in general about life. Under the quote was my reply to your intial post. But I read, write, make music, draw, play guitar, piano and bass. I love all those things but repetition gets boring regardless for me. I think some people are wired differently. You might be able to do the same things every month after month and be ok with it me I don't like it honestly.

What do you like doing?

I was in the same boat, then I just started taking weekend trips.

Stopped buying clothes I didn’t need and got on hopper & spent the same amount I would pay on a pair of J’s, and started copping plane tickets. Just got back from New Orleans. This weekend I’m headed to NC to see my folks I went to school with and see my boys baby for the first time :wow:.

Weekend after that, I’m hopping on the train and headed to NY for the 808’s & Heartbreak 9 yr anniversary party. Then after that Miami or LA.

Only time I’m in time for the weekend is if the wizards got a home game I wanna check out.

Reclaim your life & time in 2018, breh. Self care = self preservation.
You don’t feel like you missed out the shoes? My Patna be wanting me to visit him in Vegas he living lavish out there, but instead of me buying a ticket (which I was fully capable of doing) I copped a fendi shirt instead. I do this because even though trips are fun and all, they’re temporary I know clothing is too but that shyt lasts longer than most trips so I rather ball out on myself. To me most people travel to basicallly do the same shyt they do locally elsewhere :yeshrug:

Most people's lives are boring.

I imagine even people with bottomless incomes are bored from time to time. That is life. Before modernization, people were probably less bored since you spent all your time trying to survive and always had to be doing something productive.

you probably are apathetic and slightly worried, not bored

You actually have to work your way up to being truly bored

full

Basically.. You have no skills and few challenges

Building up your skill can be boring
But many people learn to pass through it quickly, finding a series of progressive challenges to help them along

Once you are built up,, just try to live each day at 80% and 80%
Fully engaged, having fun, it's a good way to be
producing results and hitting goals are byproducts of the lifestyle

Not anymore. I have two new cameras and go out every day and see places in my city I did not even know existed. I hang with my sister a bit more now, I am opening up a bit more
to people who open up to me...I'm doing shyt differently, even if my life is 99% the same. I'm not in a position to make radical changes yet, so in the meantime, I am approaching the
old in a completely new way.

I should have been feeling and acting in this way for years.

No offense but this thread wasn't about you, OP said all he does is go on social media, for him getting a hobby would be a good step, I also mentioned getting a hobby that takes time so the repetition may not be the same factor, for instance I like to travel, have a list of places I would like to go, I work toward checking those places off my list, this hobby will take years, probably decades to accomplish, there are tons of hobbies for OP to add, currently he has none.

No offense but this thread wasn't about you,
:why:I never said it was about me. And not to mention the damn title is posed as a question asking posters what they personally feel about the subject. No offense but you have poor reading comprehension skills honestly.

:what:You're arguing against a position I never took. My initial post to op was saying I could relate and that people like us would just have to get use to it. Than you replied to my comment directed towards op rather than the one addressing you.

Your suggestion is cliche and vague. That was my whole entire point to quoting your initial post. Someone like op needs more than just a damn hobby because what happens after he loses interest in whatever hobby he would decide to pickup?:francis:

I only cop the ones I REALLY want. My last 3 purchases were the off-whites, red XI & the silver bullet air max’s besides that - I’m good. The memory last longer than that shirt ever will. Nah, breh you gotta take in the culture. Plus Vegas is hella cheap, you should go.

I’m going bro that nikka basically house sitting a mansion out there. I consider myself a minimalist in that sense I don’t cop everything I haven’t made a major purchase in a min so I felt I had to. Hopefully my dumbass don’t take too long you right tho. I’ll never forget the quality of the food I ate traveling and the culture and I ain’t been to Vegas in a hot one.

Yeah. I just go to college and work. Barely see my friends and get no girls. shyt is miserable.

So I decided to make a change. Transfered job location which gives me more pay and free time and in an area I like.

Never had hobbies outside of social media and music so I’m gonna try and change that.

Saving to get an Apple Macbook and learning how to produce and edit with my friends.
