Anyone else hate christmas music as a result of working in retail?

And I dont mean you worked in retail for a few months or a year.....I worked in retail mostly from the time I was 16 to the time I got out of college. That's several christmas holiday seasons with the same songs being pounded into your head over and over while dealing with unruly, hateful customers and staying late nights til 2am folding clothes or putting stuff up.

I can't listen to any of them at all now, and I loved the songs as a kid

Just 1 year of that was enough for me. I get flashbacks when I step in the stores during holiday season now, trying to leave as quickly as possible to avoid the triggers.

I hated it when I worked retail. When I got my current job we had an older guy that when we came back from Thanksgiving would put on one of those stations that only play xmas music 24/7 until xmas. It was the same 10-15 songs you could easily hear the same songs 3-4 times a day, thank god he finally retired. I like xmas music around the holidays but when it's the same 10-15 songs everyday makes you go crazy, I was about to throw Xmas in the buses for hannakuh or kwanza
