Outside of a lot of 80’s stuff(which can be argued is more soul, funk, etc.) and some other exceptions most of it comes off as shallow and immature imo.


Brehs on here are :flabbynsick: so I’ll probably catch shyt from dudes who put that shyt while getting sympathy p*ssy.

You seem young and from a different era, so I understand why it might not be your type of hype.

I use to think artists like Marvin Gaye and Al Green were overrated then I got older and more mature and could identify with exactly what they were talking about in their music.

I matured and the taste of what I liked started to reflect that.

That being said that 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s shyt was the truth, everything after about 2004 kinda went to this more commercial pop sound you hear today.

Marvin & al are great but idk if they’re rnb frfr. Most of the music in my library’s old as hell tbh.
