Anyone else have a historically important (black) family?

Great aunt was the first black female mayor in SC. My grandfather, her brother, was one of the first black contractors in SC. My uncle, his son my dad's brother, is in the SC sports hall of fame. My cousin is a prominent author on black history, she has been mentioned on the coli a number of times. My uncle by marriage was part of the group that led the sit-ins in Columbia during the Civil Rights Movement. My dad got shot in Vietnam :francis:

I believe my grandad was important in his village in Nigeria, at least his funeral bio makes it seem so. My granny passed in October, now I have no elders.

Also, on history, I think it would depend on what that culture values. That's why I mentioned my aunt who is a prayer warrior since pray is a major aspect of the culture.
That may not be so significant to those more focused on stuff like wars and capitalism lolol
