Anyone else have a serious problem with how Kanye is treated in the media?

nikka im 23, that shyt trash outside of 2 songs :stopitslime:

I thought the entire album was on point aside from that black skinhead track
I agree, its not an easily accessible album so if youre impression is based off a couple of listens then I can see why you would write it off because I didnt like it either initially

if an album is truly good then you shouldnt have to listen to it multiple times as if it was a chore :camby:

2-3 full listens tops

I thought Reasonable doubt and Illmatic were overrated for along time before they clicked, everybodys taste in music is constricted to a certain degree, its all about venturing out and extending your palette. Im not sayin you have to like it, but your personal taste in regards to something doesnt extend an inch beyond yourself

I think he's just an attention whore like any other celebrity, but race is unsurprisingly a major factor in what makes Kanye a hated figure.
Thanks to moments like the Taylor Swift and George Bush incidents, he's seen as a full-blown racist by whites and this lets them feel justified in publicly having a deeper hatred for him.

I don't like Kanye outside of some of his albums, but he has really pushed some whites' buttons and that's something I can commend him for.

He gets treated terribly bad. But he brings it on himself. Picks the wrong battles. He speaks truth though.

Ironically the Donald Sterling incident and Yeezy are pretty connected. After the clippers incident, everyone wanted to talk balck empowerment and how we need to own something as a people. Sterling even made a mockery of black people as a whole by saying we don't stick together. Same thing Kanye has been saying for years.

In the end, Kanye does too much talking and not enough explaining. If he could control his temper and explain at a better angle he'd be more respected.
