hate it, got clowns out here knowing every single WR and RB in the league but couldnt pick Eric Berry or Mo Wilkerson out of a lineup. every pregame show has a fantasy segment now, im all for getting more people into the sport (the original intent) but all it does is breed box score watching casual fans

Ive done it for two years, and didnt care enough to keep up with my team. Id rather gamble on sports if I need added interests.

But yea players get points for how many yards they get, tds they score, lose points for turnovers. Each week you have a QB, RB, WR, TE, flex (either TE, RB, WR), defensive/ST, and kicker

Normally the points are like this:

for every 10yds is 1 pt...each TD is 6pts

D/ST start with like 10 pts and lose points as the opposing team scores but gain points for scores and turnovers.

Kickers...XP is 1pt and FG is 3pts

Since every post in here is dudes bytching I'll tell you what fantasy (football) is about. You sign up for a league, and you draft players. You get points based off production. For example a QB will get x amount of points for throwing a TD, passing yards. Same with running back for touchdowns and rushing yards, etc. Lineups typically QB RB RB WR WR WR/T TE K and DEF. I posted a screenshot to help illustrate the point

Didnt see @L&HH before me. Only thing I would add is that scoring varies by league, as you can see mine is jacked

Ehh not every league is for money. Im sure a decent amount just do it for the fun. Only reason Id play for money is so I have an incentive to actually keep up with my team
