Fantasy is awesome. I already loved basketball and football before I started playing, but fantasy adds that extra layer of competition. Now not only is your real life team competing, but you are too with your own virtual team. The strategy that goes into analyzing who to bench, who to start, who to drop, who to pick up in free agency, who to draft, and who to trade is extremely fun for the thinking kind of guy who likes to strategize.
The best part is it makes me pay attention to games I normally would never care about. Watching the suns vs the cavs and hoping Goran Dragic gets you that one last assist you need to beat your opponent for the week, or tuning into the Seahawks vs the Jags to watch that Seattle defnese you drafted net you mad points with all those sacks, interceptions and low scoring
My first time competing was last year in a 10 dollar basketball league. I got to the grand finals, and on the final night of the season, all I needed was Chris Paul to make 2 more free throws for me to win it all. This a$$hole got to the line with 30 seconds left, made the first one and missed the second

hated the Clippers for the rest of the year. Was so happy when Memphis whooped their ass.
This time I'm in a 20 dollar b-ball league and 2 football leagues. I want to win at least one of those, if not all 3. One of my squads has Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte and Alfred Morris as a triple back threat with Matthew Stafford at QB and Marques Coltson and Torey Smith for my wideouts

. I like my chances in that one.
