Lupe Fiasco to me is a tragedy. Dude was sick with his first 2 albums, after that I didn't even bother to check for dude.

:cape:
Don't give up on Lupe, you wrote him off when he came out with Lasers, which he deserved but his last album is incredible, just peep this song

I wrote some stuff up but looked at it and said "man this is too soapbox-ish", so I'll just say it sucks today. Artist are clowns, stand for nothing and have less talent. And as time goes on, it has proven to become more self-destructive and less in the hands of black people. That doesn't mean though that there aren't any good artist, just that I'm not feeling the mainstream at all and haven't for a long time now. I just listen to old shyt mostly and other genres.

:ehh:

What's that from? I thought his last album was F&L 2? I messed with a few cuts from Lasers....ended up making a mix of Friend of The People and Lasers which made it manageable.

The mainstream isnt for adults, that doesnt bother me because 80's nikkas was hating gangsta shyt in the 90's. My thing is there is always good shyt out there if you look. And the legends still come with that heat, I still love, Nas' Life is Good

Out here in my damn drawls
Lupe Fiasco
Joey Badass
J. Cole
Wale
Schoolboy Q
A$ap Rocky
Curren$y
Z-Ro (Mo City Don)
Trae the Truth
Big Krit
Young Roddy
Killa Kyleon
Boldy James
The Cool Kids

Besides Krit and Kedrick (besides his voice), I agree with the OP. It might not even be the artists, maybe I'm just tired of listening to it. I turn on the radio and be like "Who the fukk is this?" :what: and my passenger be like, :beli: " You don't know who -------- is!?!?". I really don't have the taste for most of it nowadays, :yeshrug:

When I do listen to hip-hop, it's usually Mid-90's to early 2000's shyt, mostly down south like Outkast or Goodie, 8-ball and everybody
