Anyone else kinda meh about dating these days?

I feel bad for those out there in these streets. Been married for six years now and don’t regret it. Marriage is work and I had to work on my own stuff. I’m 37 now and luckily ran the streets in my 20’s. If my Wife and I don’t make it, I can’t imagine running the streets of Atlanta.

I’d probably be that guy with his stuff together but don’t want anything serious. Taking advantage of all the 30 and 40 something’s because I’m decent.

Being a decent Black makes you “better” than 90% of the dating pool right now. That’s sad. I feel bad for black women.

Kinda sounds like a backhand to black men in general. Not all black men or women are bad. I'm getting married soon.

Wonderful, since making that post I‘ve nearly doubled my salary, padded my savings and am in the best financial times of my life entering my 30s.

I think it’s a backhand to men in general, people really. If you are in your 30’s and 40’s and single, the game chewed you up and spit you out or you decided to not participate. Generally speaking of course.

Women in their 30’s and 40’s deal with leftovers generally speaking. Plus, how many of your homeboys are halfway decent? I love all my Bothers and Sisters but I realize most aren’t shyt unfortunately.

We are all walking problems that haven’t resolved them. We bump into other people who have unresolved issues, date and procreate.

Imagine a world where people wait to become self-self aware, conscience, Christians before they decide to date.

I wanna save 100 bands (I’m more than halfway there) and relocate to a lowkey town/city that fits me more than Atlanta by the time I’m 35 (2027)


Somewhere with a lower cost of living where I’ll be more of a commodity on the dating market and be a bigger fish in a smaller pond….. relatively young with money and options
