Anyone else know people getting COVID left and right?

My daughter caught it in the summer time. I just tested positive Monday and my girl and 1 year old positive today. It was weird for me cuz like days before my throat was itchy and I was coughing and my girl was like u been coughing a lot lately didn’t think about it till we went to a party on Saturday. My body felt sore like I worked out but I only did chest and arms. Same night I woke up whole body sore and chills only lasted a day in a half.

Me and my wife have not caught it so far, we still mask up around people mainly because my grandma is in hospice care and we visit every weekend. I couldn't live with getting my grandma sick b.

I got covid for the first time in the beginning of November. I'm immune compromised as well. I had it for about 2 weeks and it sucked. I got the newest booster 2 weeks before I got covid.

I been seeing so many people wearing masks, covid is unfortunately part of our existence now just like the flu has been the last 100+ years.
To be fair, they were trying to protect the old and feeble there, not like here where we killed them off.
1M deaths here will seem like chump change when omicron finally washes over china.
Their vaccine isn't as effective against omicron either so I can partly see why they're taking such draconian measures. I don't agree with their zero covid policy but there is a rationale behind it.
Lol, except that it depletes your antibodies and drastically increases your risk for strokes, heart attacks and long covid with every infection

It’s all RSV and Flu right now.i know 2 people in their 30s hospitalized with pneumonia/respiratory shyt and didn’t test positive for covid in the last month.
also they aren’t fat or anything like that

I ate my words too because I said I haven’t heard of anybody getting the flu recently, not too long ago but it’s definitely running wild right now.
