Same here, I find it better than burning in hell for eternity or any other wack ass afterlife some of these religions have. Even the concept of heaven creeps me out.

What scares me more than dying is being forgotten. Literally in 100 years there will be no one left alive that knew you. When the last person who ever had any memory of you dies, then it will be like you never existed. Yes their might be pictures and maybe even videos of you that are around in 100 years but anyone who might see it won't know you. Like who really knows who their great-great-great grand parents are? Nobody that's who. Of all the countless zillions of people who have been born, lived, and died in this world since the beginning of time, we know the names of a handful of them.

One thing that convince me is the African cultures especially the Dogons the same people who pointed out the center of the universe(Sirius star system) before astronomers with modern technology
It's a weird explaining I know. But putting two together of these people with there beliefs and the things they know/knew that make them ahead of the game. That helped convince me that whatever the afterlife is like(whether ur closer to God or the ancestors) it very likely exist

I don't fear death. I went cold turkey one day and just didn't give a fukk. I been in some places and predicaments most people would be scared to do or go. I wish a mother fukker would vs hoping they would and welcome whatever . A peaceful place for me is a cemetery. I often go there at night and just sit there thinking.
