This a real ass post. For the majority of my 20s we was getting off work drinking and freaking blacks and smoking weed. I remember when the Wine flavor dropped and we stopped freaking them and fell in love with the wood tips. :banderas:

As I entered my 30s I slowed down a lot. Now I may have a drink here and there, but it’s not really for me anymore. I had a Simply Lemonade recently at a party. Everyone was talking about it so I tried it. I thought it was good, but I prefer the weed high and don’t really care to get drunk.
Nah them wine joints was getting freaked too

One tip I’ll give y’all brehs (:dame:) who get hangovers is eat and/or drink healthy fruit/vegetables while you’re drinking

The reason you feel hangovers is your body is being depleted of nutrients because of the alcohol, so if u replenish those nutrients as they’re leaving your body you’ll feel a lot better.

You’ll actually feel a “smoother” drunk (for lack of a better word) and won’t have a bad hangover the next day if any hangover at all.

Because of all of the social drinking I did in my 20's, my tolerance is pretty high.
Social drinking gives me zero buzz.
I used to come home Fridays from work and sip a lil somn to get a mellow buzz.
Or on Sunday nights to get my mind right for Monday.
Not anymore. A few shots and a couple beers leave me sober as a judge.
I only drink when friends come over and that's not often at all.

Always been a social drinker.

I rarely drink, but if I'm at a lounge with a nice vibe, I'm usually up for a glass of brandy or whiskey on the rocks.

I used to stay a with a blood alcohol I'm assuming above .16 and it made me a different (in a good way) person socially. Was intoxicated so often that I'm that same person when sober minus some of the more questionable decisions.

I just recently made a decision to cut all that shyt, and even though I have 4 left of a 6 pack in the fridge I'm still considering cold turkey

I mean, I'm not an abstainer but I definitely drink less than when I was younger.

Now I'd much rather just eat an edible since it's legal now and I don't have to worry about a hangover.

I used to the able to throw QUITE a few back in my 20s. But now, creeping up on 40, I feel disgusting when I drink. That come down is awful. And don’t take a nap when you’re drunk. You wake up feeling like death.

I remember those nights when I knew I drank too much, and was wishing I’d throw up so I could go to sleep. But now, the I don’t even like the smell of alcohol.

:scust:
You don't enjoy getting drunk... Is more accurate.

A lot of people learned how to drink to get shyt faced and that is how they view alcohol consumption for the rest of their life.

I'm a 3 beer limit kind of guy on average. I don't enjoy getting shyt faced and hung over

If you feel that bad about alcohol, you might've been a no self control drunk. My father still drinks, but for the enjoyment & taste.

Of course it gets old when y’all ass was drinking like damn alcoholics:dead:

A chill night every now & then with some liquor or wine is nice.

Basically. from the answers a whole lot of people couldn't drink without getting drunk lol

I cut back years ago, especially when I moved South, and away from everybody. When I do drink, I usually have no more that two beers. Sometimes I'l buy a shot or two of Jim Bean Apple or Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey to go with it, like on summer holidays. Right now, I can have a 12 pack in the fridge, and it will last for like six months, or longer.

I can't start drinking in the daytime, not even one beer, then stop and pick back up later in the evening. Once I stop for an hour or two, my stomach knots up, making it hard when I start again. Drinking also messes up my exercise and workout routine, making me five times more tired.

One of the worst thing about getting tore up other than the negative side affects, is always wondering if you made a fool of yourself the day after that party:jbhmm: :francis::sadcam::unimpressed::why::snoop:
