Onions are delicious. And for the folks who love green onions, you can put the end in a glass of water, put it in the window, and it will continue to grow. You can also put them in a pot of potting soil, keep them watered, and they will grow. I haven't bought green onions in months since I discovered this.

I hate onions it’s the smell and texture .

With that being said I have to cook with them .

The flavor they give to a dish is worth it .

If I don’t need them I won’t use them .

Exactly. I don’t actually eat onions, if I do I dice them small as shyt. They add a flavor to things, that nothing else does and isn’t matched by onion powder; but, eating like a straight up onion? Hell naw. The texture of onions is weird as fukk. They’re nasty.

i think size matters.

i cannot handle a slice or ring, but i love them minced.

minced doesn't overpower. it gives just enough flavor and you don't have to bite into any onion texture cuz the piece of onion is so small.
