I'm the same way, like someone said it's a gift and a curse, it keeps people you don't want to know away but on the other hand it makes good people have to get to know you.

The good thing is those people that do get to know you are usually the best friends you can possibly have.

I'd like to think I'd attract individuals that can observe how I am. If they are interested then they'll make an effort. Just like with anything else in life. I'm not a go getter type of person but I'll sure make my interest known if that feeling is itching enough

I have this problem too. How are you suppose to meet ppl and develop friendships early on if you are this way. Because for me, it takes awhile opening up to others. How are you suppose to get to know women if you don't talk that much and approach ppl in general.

I'm not the type to force my personality on people. You really gotta build your rapport with people in order to bring out more of yourself. I tend to see what kind of person I'm dealing with before I give out more of myself.

Im like this but Im this way now because I feel like people dont need to know who I am unless they are going to be in my life for more than a short period of time. It just seems pointless and a waste of energy.

I started a temp job a few months ago thinking I wasn't going to be there for long so didn't bother to really get to know anyone.
I've been there for 6 months now and I probably seem like a closed off anti-social person. I might be there for the Christmas dinner and I'm thinking

well d@mn, im the opposite, ive always been social.... at work, goin out, walkin down the block... usually i dont be tryin to get to know em or hang out or nothin but i put on that smile & chat it up quick.... i f_ck wit people about random sh!t daily for my own amusement.... other day i told a chick i should become a friend & stop my demonic breh ways....
